Greetings everyone,

So here is my first ever post in my very first blog. Since this is my first review (in my own blog , obviously) I would like to start with a positive product which indeed gave me good results and does what it claim.

About Brand:

Bon organics is one of the growing organic brands which roots from Puducherry, India. They have your back on skincare needs (lotions, sunblock, face washes) , home needs ( organic palm sugar, laundry and detergent bars which are revolutionary) , makeup (lip stain, kajal, face powders) and some hair care range. More reviews will be coming soon on their products which are also vegan, paraben-free, cruelty-free and sulphate-free. You can buy them here!

About product:

Being in a tropical summer, face gels always been my rescue. They can hydrate your skin more than any creams could do. So to start over with, I had chose Bon organics aloe gels range from here.

I bought the Cinnamon orange gel, Tea tree gel and Peach avocado gel among their wide aloe gel range. These gels claim to be used for both skin and hair. Let us dive deep into the product.

How it is packed?

These gels come in 100 gm plastic tubs and lids which is definitely not eco-friendly. The package has the short ingredient list which is free from all sort of harsh chemicals such as parabens, SLS, SLES , sulphate and silicone free. And the address, date of manufacture stuffs. Regarding the tub package, i suggest you all to use clean hands or a wooden spoon to scoop out the product.

Price: 100 gm for 230 INR

Ingredients : Aqua, Aloevera, salinatural, Essential oils

How does it look and feel like?

I have used all the three variants mentioned here in the past month. They feel the same during application but work in unique ways. The gel is very light as any other aloe gel and runny on application so that you don't even feel like you are wearing something on your face. The brand has given specific colors for each variant (But it doesn't matter because it loses color after application)

All of them gives the same cooling feel and hydration. But the degree of hydration and moisturization levels are the parameters which makes each of them unique.

How it smells?

I can be sure that the smell won't bother anyone since it fades away as soon as you apply it. Each variant has its own smell. Peach is my fav since it has more fresh note in it. Orange has the refreshing and citrus note and tea tree has the conventional tea tree fragrance. But the smell doesn't stay long which makes it perfect for daily use and best for sensitive skins too.

Tea Tree gel:

I started with the tea tree gel ( I had stress acnes on my cheeks and chin). It gave me good hydration but i insist you to use some other moisturizer even if you have slightly oily skin. Because, it dried out my skin very well and my face already messed up enough before i found this fact. I looked dull and exhausted but my acnes withstand. Thumbs down for this tea tree gel. But still i hope that it will work on heavy oily skin girls who desperately wants to control the oil-fall on their face.

The best part about gels are that they have great extents of usage such as a

  • moisturizer, under eye gel, primer

  • an ingredient in your weekly face care ritual as a face mask or a massage gel

  • an ingredient to be mixed up with oils in hair masks or as a styling gel after wash

I hope this tea tree gel will work well on dandruff as a hair gel as it claim to be (yet to experiment this way) Let's move on to next one.

Peach and avocado gel:

The ingredients are same as tea tree one except the essential oils but trust me this makes a huge difference in the product completely.

This peach one is made for dry skinned beauties and to be honest i bought it for my mum. After drying up my face with tea tree gel : ( I started eyeing on this peach gel. After usage, unlike tea tree one it gave me more level of hydration and moisturization so as the good healthy glow. It does its job very well. In the website, they categorized it under dry skin but I felt that it suits all skin types as well as hair types. Go ahead buying this one.

Orange cinnamon gel :

Coming in with a citrus note, it follows the peach gel in all ways. It treats the sunburn and irritation very very effectively and got added in my facial routine as a massage gel.

Other gel variants : Pure, saffron papaya, neem, cucumber chamomile (best seller) , blueberry grapefruit, lavender

Will I restock it again?

Yes, the peach and avocado one.

++:

  • Best hydration as a high end skincare product

  • Fresh smell for your mornings

  • Good for all skin and hair

  • Multiple usage (which is common for all aloe gels)

  • Good start for your minimalized skincare routine.

-- :

  • Packaging is a great drawback and I feel the price is lil bit expensive for this kinda packaging and quantity of the product.

  • Tea tree gel is more drying than i expected and terrified to use it again on my face.

Conclusion

Among the brands which merely uses the words organic, paraben-free for the sake of sale, brands which go completely organic like bon organics should be encouraged. Once you visit their website, you'll be impressed by their own product range in baby care and home needs. You can definitely give them a try in this summer.

Soon with another gem from shelf. Take care. Thanks for reading and comment any feedback. I'm all ears.
